Thames Ironworks and Shipbuilding Company - Where it all began. Employees here formed Thames Ironworks Football Club in 1895, before the team was reformed in 1900 and renamed West Ham United. This is how West Ham got their nickname "The Hammers".
Old Wembley Stadium - West Ham made it to the first ever FA cup final held at Old Wembley Stadium in 1923. They also had three West Ham legends represent England in the 1966 World Cup final at Wembley- Bobby Moore, Sir Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters.
